The Darkened Bliss by Mason Carter

The Darkened Bliss

Then he cuts himself apart,
Rather bear all the shame,
For he loathes his own heart.
Anterior dancing in flame-

Which conspires him to do,
The crazy things he dreams,
In the dark hour and light too.
When the darkness streams-

Through the flesh and bones.
In striking times be warned,
Thy closeness to God moans,
Yet thy poisoned soul burned.

All despairs of heart thrown,
In dark hellish farther abyss,
To the bipolar Mason’s crown,
In the state of darkened bliss.
