Does Truth exist?
The existing order of things and ruling ideologies are always channelled through "common sense" and affected subjects having been indoctrinated with such ideologies feel like they have developed them independently or reached the same conclusions (Foucault, 1980, p. 45). As Neoliberal Postmodern notions are now part of every human's common sense. Phrases like "my truth", "everyone has their own version of the truth", "truth is relative", and "abstract truths" are part of common sense and are often heard during discussions, even from people who are unaware of postmodernist theories on truth (Bourdieu, 1977, p. 56).
